Supposedly, many an inhabitant of Yanggu recommends a restaurant for tofu. I could acknowledge that when I arrived at the restaurant: big building, many cars and many people.
The moment I felt that I was in the wrong place. As to accommodate many people every day, it could hardly keep good quality food. It was, indeed.
The tofu served was very disappointing. It has no taste—only bland, and quite challenging to sense soybean flavour. The house seemed to do the tofu, solely with perilla oil to compensate for the taste.
It was a shame to waste a meal with such frustrating food.
