My ever love, eclair!
I used to buy a lot of eclaire when I leave Paris, and I eat them instead of having in-flight food. That is the eclair to me.
I had a coffee at Café Artisee in Tower Palace, Seoul. Browsing cakes I found eclair. Without hesitation I ordered eclair. Coffee and Chocolate.
As the crust is too dry and the crumb, praline and chocolate, is much drier, it was hard to appreciate. Chocolate eclair reminded me of a different but mass product ‘Choco flavoured pie’. The one that is most beloved as a pastry by North Koreans.
I don’t remember worse eclair in my long journey of eclair. And with quite a surprising price. It’s 7,000 Korean won($6). Knowing that the Artisee is a café brand run by Samsung family, it is a real shame.
