Summer lettuce

I’d thought that lettuce is available for all seasons, but I’ve learnt that it is not true.

Now is the best time for lettuce.
Lettuce season does not last long.
The season might be over soon.

So said my farmer wife.

I like Korean lettuce with doenjang.
