At Sokcho, my wife and I were to decide a place to have lunch. We had two options preferred: pork rib grill at Weontong and wild vegetable at Pyeongchang. Because both restaurants are pleasing, we hesitated a bit, then agreed on pork rib grill.
On the highway, we happened to meet heavy traffic to Weontong, at which point I decided to change the direction to Pyeongchang to avoid the traffic. We could get to the place after driving more than 70 kilometres.
At the restaurant, we ordered as usual Sannamul jeongsik(wild vegetable set menu) and buckwheat pancake for a starter. The food was good as expected and as always. We enjoyed the food with chardonnay wine of the South-West of France. We emptied all the vegetables served.
Even though we left in the early afternoon for Seoul after lunch, it took more than three hours to get home. Heavy traffic continued amid severe COVID-19.
