It was quite a serendipity.
On the way to Park Sugeon Museum, I happened to stop at a restaurant for lunch. It was a Makguksu specialised restaurant in Inge, Gangwon-do.
When served, I was a bit surprised by its minimalistic look. No spicy paste and no sesame oil flavour.
Pressed to try it and had a morsel.
Dull at first as it looked and quickly sensed the buckwheat flavour in the mouth. It was good. I tried to recall better buckwheat noodles I’d enjoyed but failed to remind one.
I think I need to try one or a few more times to assure that my sense was right or to get more joy to have good buckwheat noodles.
