From New York
One of my friend came back from New York. She stayed ten days in New York. Short visit for a conference, but spared more days to buy food stuff. She appeared happy for having shopped at Dean and DeLuca and so on.
She brought some for my family: beans, high-quality cheese, and so on. They might be trifle stuff, but precious for us, because we are not able to buy in Seoul. Korea is one of the most underdeveloped country for food materials. Korean FTA matters all the time.
I enjoyed a lot a goat cheese from New York, but made in Italy. It’s pity that Americans don’t know much how to mature or keep cheese.You might verify the rind of French cheese, Pavé d’Affinois. It’s creamy when well-matured.
Anyhow, it was happy hours for me to enjoy long-time-missed food stuff.
아는 분께서 뉴욕학회에 다녀 오셨습니다. 저희 집에 들러서 먹거리를 잔뜩 싸오셨네요. 외국여행을 해본 분들은 짐 때문에 선물을 산다는 것이 얼마나 부담이 크고 어려운지 알겁니다. 이렇게 많이 사온 분은 처음인 것 같습니다. 학회는 짧게 나머지 음식사냥은 길게 하고 오셨다고 합니다. 뉴욕의 딘앤델루카 뿐 아니라 이곳저곳 많이 구경하셨다는군요.
콩류가 다양하게 수입되지 않을 뿐 아니라, 수입된다하더라도 외국인을 위한 것이라 특히 동남아나 아랍계를 위한 것이라 비싸고 좋은 제품이 없습니다. 치즈 또한 좋은 치즈가 없으니 가져온 치즈와 함께 샤블리 한 병을 거의 한자리에서 다 비웠네요. 낮에.
